What to buy which is the best? I am looking at JKS “quicker disconnects” from 4WD any input, suggestion and or recommendations would be appreciated.

Does one have to physically do something to engage/disengage them? Or are they switch controlled? (electronically I mean)

Only the electronic disconnect you hit a button and it goes. The "quick" disconnect you have to get out and unclip it yourself, and reclip it when you get off the trail. The "quick" comes from it just being a clip of somesort that doesn't require you to use tools to do it. You cAn undo the sway bar without quick disconnects... It's just not quick haha

I have the JKS Quick discos and disconnected at Roktoberfest and ran the trail and my boot was ok after the run. I have a TF 2.5 lift and 35's and was flexed out pretty good few times, but I have a friend that disconnected on a run before and lost his boot

I too flexed out at Roktoberfest and flexed pretty good at times. Then I got into a situation at Cleghorn where I thought I could flex some more... BOOM!
