I have the JKS also and am happy with them.... not that I would mind not crawling in the mud at times by having the electronic ones

I have the JKS as well, what a difference it makes to be disconnected. The JKS are great because the are completely removed in a couple minutes.

I'm betting you are running with an automatic tranny. The "shifters" (6 speeds) don't tear their boots while flexinf.

I have the JKS Disco's. I also have quite a testimony of the effectiveness of running disconected. By my house there is this steep little dirt road that has alternating holes in it where four wheel drives have spun out trying to climb it.

I tried it w/O my rear locked up & could not climb it. It was really retarded how little of the hill I could go up. These alternating holes lined up with my wheelbase, once my front right & rear left was hovering over a hole I just spun out.

I then disconnected my JKS Discos & whalaa!! Crawled up W/O my locker & didn't slip a wheel. What a huge difference.

Anyone who is not locked in the front or rear would be crazy not to diconnect esp. if they have the manual tranny,

Get the JKS. They work well and go on and off easily.

Default JKS Quick disco's

I currently have the rustys quick disconnects and the name doesn't lie, they disconnect very quick, but reconnecting is a whole other story. It usually takes me anywhere between 10-20 minutes to reconnect. How are the JKS quick disconnects to reconnect after your off the trail?
