Default swaybar links help

I just moved put on my new teraflex sway bars on the rear and am trying to put the rears on the front. For the life of me i cannot get them on. When i try to tighten them the entire bolt spins with the nut. Then i noticed a hole in the end of the bolt for a small torx. so i put one in and tried to turn the nut. Well i think all i did was strip that hole out. The nut will just not go on. Does anybody know a trick to put this damn thing on?

Isn't there a hex part of the bolt on the link side (opposite the nut side of the swaybar) that you can put a wrench on to keep the bolt from turning? It seems that is what that's for in looking at the upper end of the swaybar link...

When tightening the nut you have to make sure you get your support wrech on the nut itself and not the washer that is welded on to the bolt. You are gonna have to maniplate that black sleeve a bit to get it on there tight around the head, should help.
I agree it is kinda a pain in the ass.

I don't see why not, but honestly the stocks are sufficent enough, especially since you have a rubicon.

I installed the same swaybar links today, and I was able to keep that bolt from turning by using a 19mm thin wrench on that hex part between the grease sleeve and the mounting bracket, no problem.

Mine (TF BB) didn't come with sway bar links, and I haven't had any problem...even with sway bar disconnected with some flex. WOL/Wayoflife (admin) didn't have problem when he had TF BB, and I've seen pics of his JK + TF BB w/o sway bar links from TF doing some hard-core stuff. You might need to install/swap the longer sway bar links if you go extreme off-roading which requires sway bar disconnected and fully extended... both front wheels at the same time. Well, that's what Teraflex guy told me when I called and asked for sway bar links... The guy told me that I don't need them unless I do some serious "hard-core" 4 wheeling... Maybe he didn't want to send me the links for $15!? Well, he sounded a kind of arrogant, so I end up not getting the links.

So, if you are not going to more extreme things than http://project-jk.com/wp-gallery2.php?g2_itemId=12757 OR http://project-jk.com/wp-gallery2.php?g2_itemId=13500 , you probably don't need to swap and install the links.

Either way, I don't think you need http://www.quadratec.com/products/16191_60X_PG.htm because you have a Rubi and it already has sway bar disconnect. If anything, you might want to get http://www.quadratec.com/products/26028_101.htm which is basically the same thing as the ones included in the kit... just different brand. If I were to get the links, I would probably get this one.
