it looks like the Brute conversion has a swing down tail gate

With our Warn rear bumper it actually gives you a top/shelf/work area instead of a tail gate.



Just to give you an idea what it looks like and the space it gives. One problem is that we had get a fellow wheeler who part owns Parrott Fab. to make a custom spare tire spacer that looks like this.



It does work really well and i can get his info if needed. He Belongs to one of our 4x4 groups (White Knuckle 4x4).

I will try to copy this latch idea from defenders i had, simple and easy to use.
Position for hinges still not clear yet.

ok think i finally figured everything out

i found a guy online who used a cj7 tailgate on his tj, he used all the old factory stuff on the cj and just welded the hinges on

now my problem, would a cj tailgate work with the Jk
