has anyone or knows anyone that has installed an atlas 2 in the jk yet just got mine today going to start in the morning looking for any tips

Ooooh....Atlas sweetness.....what? didnt wanna try the new 4? I am very interested to see how the install goes! Do you have a Rubicon or X or Sahara? You better plan on making an install write-up on this....

just came in to take a break and go swimming just an update got my bilstien shocks yesterday so there done, brake lines done, test drive offroad done, t case and driveshafts off went super easy pretty basic will take pics later, i will do a write up on what size wrenches,etc. but its really simple

I think that quadratec show truck put in an atlas. I watched the show "extreme 4X4" on Itunes

how much cutting is going to be required to seat the atlas?

actully none an easier method is just to install a 1 inch spacer and longer studs which i will have atlas send me tommorrow the input shaft is exactly 1 inch diff i believe the stock is 1 3/8 and atlas is 2 3/8 you could cut the atlas shaft down but thats alot of steel to cut and trim the output shaft flush with the t case adapter its to hot here to be messing with that so i will just bolt on the spacer since there are no clearance issues under the cab

will you have to cut the sheet metal in order to get the shifters into the cab?
