X/Sahara are 2:1
Rubi's are 4:1

Upgrade to a rubi case for around $700 used
Regear both axles for $1-1.5k

Is there a tcase regear kit available? And what would the cost be? 2k+? May as well swap in an Atlas at that point...

Or the RubiCrawler? $1600 plus install. Add a bit for the twin stick...

Watch the for sale section, craigslist, car-part.com, quite a few out there if you look around. Lots of people upgrading to the Atlas, which is just an all-around better tcase. (lots of gearing options, twin stick, etc...)

wow that 10-1 4 spd atlas looks nice but at those ratios if my tires ever got stuck it would probably shatter my whole driveline
