Default T-Max Winch Info

SO I tried out my new T-Max competition winch for the very first time last night and within 10 seconds it was busted. It was pulling fine and then all of a sudden it wouldn't pull anymore. ANy bit of pressure now and it won't pull.

I live in Nunavut, so there are no dealers or anything here.

What are my options?!??? Can I fix this? Will T-Max do anything for me? Will I have to mail out my winch or should I pull it apart and see whats wrong?

ANy help would be very greatful.

10 seconds! Wow! What the heck were you trying to pull?

What is it doing? Is it turning at all? Humming but not spinning? If there is nothing happening with it, could it be it tripped a circut breaker or fuse, or loose connection or something? Or is the motor spinning but it isn't connecting to the cable drum? It has been several years since I owned a winch, but it seems to me there was a small lever that had to be engaged to make it swith from free wheeling to pulling. Could it maybe not be fulley engaged?

Well I pulled the entire thing apart to look at the brake to see if it had popped OR if it was the motor coupler but everything looks good.

The clutch seems pretty cheap and moves around a lot. Maybe it was disengaging itself causing it to 'skip'. I am going to put it back on and try it again to see if I notice the clutch popping in and out.
