Question Tailgate hole question...?

I have ProComp 7089 wheels with 4.5" backspacing, including the spare. So, the rubber bumpstops no longer make contact with the tire (like they did on the factory wheel/tire combo), making them useless.

The trouble is - they are not mounted rigidly enough to stay in place, particularly when I wash the car etc... I want to remove them, but I was wondering what people were doing to "plug them up". Is there a rubber grommet or something manufactured for this purpose?

Someone please point me in the right direction.

ThankS!
