Why not throw half a dozen of them across the top of the rear bumper?

The two spots I used are the only places with enough clearance to drop the 3" deep cups into. Everywhere else has steel bumper underneath.

Maybe the top of the fender flares though. That's a pretty big flat spot !

I stopped by West Marine on my way home yesterday and bought a few of these cup holders and did the same thing. It cost me a little more... I think the cup holders were like $5 a piece but the Lions start pre-season today and I needed them. See being a Lions fan means you have to drink a lot... before, during, and after the game.

Thanks for the idea!

Oh, I drilled out the drain holes in the cup holders a little bigger just to make sure the drain well. When I drilled the holes in the bumper I looked in there and it has drain holes molded in it.

BTW - This should be in the "Write-Ups" section for all to see...

Question

I'm sure this is not an origianal idea, but along these same lines, has anyone converted their storage space in the rear of the unlimited to a cooler? Any ideas how this could be done?
