It depends on entirely what you want to do? And how much you are willing to spend. 2.5 is a great entry level economical lift.

It's cheap, easy, and can fit 35s with some minor stock modifications. You can always upgrade later by pulling it out and installing a new bigger lift. Depends on if you want to do more than one lift installation on your rig.

I have the 2.5" BB on mine. I was going to save up for a nice short arm kit, but saw 35"wheels and tires in craigslist and couldnt pass up the deal. I have done some hard wheelin and have had no issues. install wasn't bad (my garage on stands and no air tools) just wish it came with something for the front trackbar. it has a drop bracket for the rear but nothing for the front.
all-in-all it is a good lift to "get you by" till you save up for something better.

ORW has a thread on here with agroup buy for 2.5 tera flex lift with new bilstein 5100's. Supposed to improve on road ride as well as improve off road ability. THe thread is kind of dead right now, but I think the deal is still on. I think it was under $800 shipped. I think anything less would be a disappointment. Ill see if I can find you a link.

I've been running a TF 2.5" BB for about 8 months and very impressed with it. It performed great at rausch creek on some pretty tough upper blue/low black trails.. I run it with stock coils and TF 9550's and 35's....

To me spending $700+ on a spacer lift is madness...

I bought my RC BB 2.5" lift (~130) will intentions of replacing after I had the money saved. I needed new tires and I wasn't going to buy tires twice, so I bought the RC and 35's. Now I have an OME HD long travel 3" lift in the back of my jeep 8 months later and I don't feel as if I wasted any extra money on parts. I had 30k on my stock shocks, with no intention of replacing them that soon.

Unless you fully plan to keep that BB lift for some time, maybe 2 years or so, it doesn't appear to be a great investment, to me at least.

You can get a Rustys 2" basic coil spring lift for half that and buy some TF quick disconnects. Or the AEV budget boost 2" with shock extensions for $260 shop around.
