In general any modification will void the warrantee, again depending how close you are with the dealer. I wouldn't hold my breath if you have any drivetrain issues after the lift being fixed under warrantee.

The lift will ONLY void the warranty if it can be proven that the lift caused the problem. This applies to any modification you do.

Fully agree but there seems to be always something directing the blame to the lift kit............ but again I haven't had any problems

My dealer is saying you can lift up to 4" without voiding the warranty.

Dose anyone here have any experience with the JKS ACOS on a JKU?

I've never wanted to go over a 2.5" lift and 35's but after talking to a couple shops and them telling me living in CO I'll need to re-gear and my milage will drop to 14-16 mpg's compared to my 17-19, I'm thinking of just leveling and 33's... :(

Stock with the Rubi wheels and suspension I've gotten everywhere I've wanted so far... That being said I've not been out with other jeeps and pushed any limits yet either...

It's my dd and I can't afford to break it...

I've never wanted to go over a 2.5" lift and 35's but after talking to a couple shops and them telling me living in CO I'll need to re-gear and my milage will drop to 14-16 mpg's compared to my 17-19, I'm thinking of just leveling and 33's... :(

The dealer has nothing in writting from the factory warranty to back up his 4 1/2" lift claim. Its just after 4" you really have to make sure you do things right. It might even stsrt to mess up the ESP stuff. Just a guerss on my part...
I have the TF 2.5 coil lift and have enjoyed it fro over 50,000 miles and a lot of off roading...

I have enjoyed reading all the feedback on this thread. I have been battling with what to do as well. I believe I will go with the TF 2.5 coil and Bilstien shocks with 35's once my stock tires wear out. Thanks for all the answers and I didn't have to start a new thread.

I have the tf 2.5 BB and am really happy with it. The ride is similar to stock, but the steering is a little more flighty given the 2.5 boost; not unmanageable, just a little bit. Some control arms down the road would fix that. It is my dd and I do wheel it as well (still 90% dd though). The BB has gotten me everywhere that I have wanted it to. Having said that, I just picked up some 2.5 teraflex coils and gradually I will build up a frankenlift with OME LT shocks, control arms, brake lines, track bars, etc piece by piece. It also seems that part of the JEEP disease is wanting more. I have the BB and even though I am happy with it, I want an LT kit for offroad performance (eventhough by far and away, I do city driving more than wheeling) just because. It's not in the budget to buy it all at once, so I will do it piecemeal. Similarly, I'm sure it is easy to find people who have sweet 2.5 lifts that want 4" lifts, 35 tires that want 37s etc.

At the end of the day, no matter what kit you buy, you can always add more pieces on as you go, and recycle what you had on the forum.

Most customers like the coil over the BB because they feel it's more bang for the money.
I have a question. I've always beleived that the spring rate for the vehicle is based on static ride height. Therefore, if you throw spacers on it with stock springs the rideheight is raised but the spring rate is the same. This means you'd get more body lean that with the stock set up? A spring lift is supposed to increase the spring rate proportionally to the increase in ride height. In theory, this would mean that the vehicle may feel stiffer in normal driving, but body lean would better reflect a stock height jeep. Does this sound correct?

IMO people by BB's becuase of price. Springs are like a "step up".

ditto on that...when all 5 stock tires are worn out I'm doing a 2.5" TF coil lift too...now I can't decide if I need drive shafts or not
