Default Teraflex 2.5 coil lift questions

hey guys,

I'm sure its been answered a few times already. Im looking into a bit bigger lift for my 11' JKU. currently have a 1.75 daystar lift with FOX shocks and 33 duratracs. running winch and bumper so I'm noticing some front end sag of course but a little front rack doesn't bother me too much. its a work truck and trail runner so I'm looking for something a little more reliable and suited for some slight abuse.

first question, whats the lift of the from coils compared to the rear? if its .5inch i don't want it to sit level , i might add .5 to the rear. bumper is RC stubby and superwinch 8500. around 40lbs+90lbs for the winch.

second question, how does it ride compared to stock springs? I'm running sahara JKU springs with tow package. not sure if that makes a difference in spring rates.

third question, anyone got some pictures????

thanks ,

courts

I just installed my teraflex 2.5 with bilsteins.

Mine sits pretty level, but I don't have any aftermarket winch or bumper yet. I've heard the teraflex springs sag a little in the front, so if your wanting to keep it level add a 3/4" spacer, if not leave it as is.

I came from the stock JKU Sahara springs, and the teraflex springs and bilsteins rides a little stiffer than stock to me, but I actually kind of prefer it this way

Here's a picture of mine with the 2.5" and 35" KM2's

I'm running the tera with shock extensions cuz I have a rubi and the 2.5 lift my Jeep 3" front and rear. It rides a little stiff but I'm going to get bilstein shocks soon and it should soften it up a little. I have a warn rock Crawler stubby bumper and warn vr8000 winch, both of them together weigh roughly 140lbs and haven't noticed any sag at all and it's been driven with this setup for about 5k miles so far. I like the way it rides now compared to stock, I'm sure it will be better once the bilsteins go on.

Front coils 3.1"
Rear coils 2.1"

Now that is on a stock JK.

This is on a 2012 but same difference. I upgraded to Bilsteins instead of shock extensions. I like the ride. The shocks make a difference. I've noticed some sag in front when I added the PSC brawler front bumper but not much. No winch yet.

Just the lift about 3 weeks before wheels and tires.
