ANyone have there check engine light come on after installing the teraflex 3 in. Mine is on and It has been aligned.

 

Disconnect your battery for 10 minutes and then see if it comes back on. Shouldn't be the lift.

 

Why would installing a 3" Teraflex lift make your check engine light come on Did you remove some kind smog component or knock something loose in regards to the fuel system. Is your gas cap on tight? ?

 

The same thing happened when I installed my lift. Try disconnecting the battery as previously stated. It did not work for me so I took my Jeep to the dealer and they read the code and told me it was a engine mis-fire code. They could not explain why and told me not to worry about it.

It is also possible that you could have coincidentally received a "loose gas cap code" the same time you installed your lift.
