TeraFlex 3" Full Flex
So I finally pulled the trigger and got myself the TeraFlex 3" Full Flex system I've been eying. I've installed several lifts in XJs, WJs, and one TJ but haven't done anything with my JK yet. I will be doing the install in my garage over next week (or maybe wait until the brake recall thing is taken care of), then plan on taking it down to TeraFlex Plus to have them do the final alignment/adjustment.
I know a lot of you in the community have this setup installed, and I'm just wondering if any of you have any tricks, tips, things to watch for, etc.. Any input is appreciated!

make sure to get your caster adjusted after install to compensate for the added leverage on the steering otherwise you will be buying steering stabilizers like candy.
took me a while to figure out why they kept crapping on me.

I followed the write up from Project-jk for his 4" lift, it's almost identical and his instructions are much better than the ones provided.
You'll need some tall jack stands for the jeep (6 ton or higher) and some short ones to hold the front axle. The more you can drop the axles the easier it'll be to get the springs on there. You might want to pick up some cheap spring compressors.
I'd also suggest getting the rock krawler rear spring wedges (~$25) otherwise your springs will bow and could hit the track bar mount.
Oh, and don't do what my wife did...I told her to gently raise up the front axle, she turned the floor jack handle the wrong want and dropped the axle down hard. Luckily the jack stands were there but it about ripped out the ABS lines....

I had my local 4x4 shop install mine on my 2008 JK Rubi Unlimited along with 35" tires. They should have told me that my front axle would be offset by almost an inch to the driver side, but they didn't.
A couple of weeks later, I took it back, bought the Teraflex adjustable track bar, had them install and re-align and the ride is definitely better because steering is less squirrely.
My 2 cents...

I am happy to help if you need a second hand. I have been wanting to check out a TF Flex arm install. If your tools are limited you could do it in my garage as I have a fully equipped shop with air tools, torque wrenches, bunches of tall floor jacks and stands, welders, grinders, and if all that fails, a sawzall. We could chop your fenders at the same time.

Now I think I'm going to wait on the install until the brake line recall thing is done. I'll keep you posted on what/when I'm doing it.
Thanks to everyone else for the input!
