Post Teraflex 3" vs Full Traction 3"

Hi All
Just ordered my Unlimited Sport. It'll be DD and I decided to go with 35" and 3" short arm lift - either TF or FT. And stuck :-)
I know both are great kits but is one better than another in your opinion? Prod, cons?
I’m planning to upgrade both bumpers (AEV) and install winch down the road. Does it matter which lift to go with?
If I’ll decide to run 37” will both lifts clear it with flat fenders?
Does anyone have/had issues with new FT 0% maintenance lift?
If I have little extra money to spend should a choose "complete" kit with 8 arm or 4 is fine?
I know i will need spacers to level it if i'll go with 4 arms, will i need it with 8 or i can adjust it using arms?
Does anyone have info how tall JK sits from the ground to top on 3" lift on 35"s (nitto trail grappler) on FT and TF?

Any info/input appreciated.

I'd look through that link first.

I can't speak to FT but I like my Teraflex

You only need lower fronts and upper rear control arms.

The lift won't affect your bumpers.

Best of luck.

Default TF 2.5" coil lift+ 1.5" levelling kit and 33" tires

Like my TF lift as well, would recommend TF

I love my Full Traction lift 3'' lift. I ran 37's just fine with stock fenders, but not aftermarket bumpers. After adding LoD front and rear bumpers I added bushwackers and it gave me the extra clearance I needed.

I have over a year on my FT lift and zero issues with my 0% maintenance lift. I am running their economy lift (no aftermarket control arms) and my steering still feels great, like stock if not better.

If made in America matters.... We build all of lifts in house. With USA steel

With a 3" kit and 35's its not completely necessary to install uppers and lower control arms. It certainly will dial your ride in perfect. If you decide to run 37's on our 3" kit just install flat fenders. You will need to swap our bumpstops but thats it.

We have a couple options on our 3" kits. The first two kits have the minimum components to properly dial in your ride. The 3rd kit is the most complete kit you can buy.

3" premium plus, $1195.95

Front and rear adjustable upper control arms
Front and rear adjustable trackbars
Bump stops
Brakeline brackets
Front quick disconnects, rear extended swaybar links

3" Ultra plus $1499.95
Front and rear adjustable lower control arms
Front and rear adjustable trackbars
Bump stops
Brakeline brackets
Front quick disconnects, rear extended swaybar links

The Ultimate kit is the premium plus and Ultra plus as one package $1895.95
Front and rear adjustable lower control arms
Front and rear adjustable upper control arms
Front and rear adjustable trackbars
Bump stops
Brakeline brackets
Front quick disconnects, rear extended swaybar links

You will need to purchase shocks with any of these kits. We recommend Bilstein 5100's.Click image for larger version

I have the FT premium + with 35s, great kit(it's the one with adjustable uppers). SRS is very convenient, haven't heard anyone with issues. Drives better than stock. I do rub slightly at full flex while turning, on both frame and fender, but I think that has more to do with my wheels then lift...

Either kit you go with will work great. I chose FT and dont regret it

You can run a either a TeraFlex 3" 4 arm or 8 arm kit, but you will need to add a front adjustable trackbar to it. TeraFlex was the first company to make kits for the TJ's back in 1996 and has lead the way in wrangler suspensions since then. TeraFlex has everything from leveling kits to 6" long arm suspension systems. You'll find more options and experience with TeraFlex. Our JK control arms have been the same design and bushings since they first came out and have always been quiet.

I have no experience with FT but I have the 3" TF and it has been a great kit. I even had a problem with an end on their trackbar a year and half after installing it and they swapped it out no questions asked. Good company to work with.

Forgot to mention I have the Teraflex adjustable track bar and it is massive. Easy quick install and relief that the track bar will out live my jeep.
