I have the AEV 2.5" lift and i love it. With stock bumpers it was actually lifted 3"-3.5" My jeep is a daily driver with some mild off-roading. Mostly established jeep trails. For that use i think the AEV lift is a good way to go. Also i Live in Missoula Montana where AEV was founded and know some of the guys that work there so i am probably biased haha.

I've only driven JK's with AEV lifts on them but have ridden in a family friends that has a TF lift. Both rides are a bit more rigid and seem to handle better than stock (Im assuming on the TF kit as i was only riding along). My JK's braking improved greatly with the lift installed. The gas mileage isn't affected much at this height, i lost maybe 1mpg if that(with 32's).

Most folks on this forum will steer you in the direction of TeraFlex because they tend to be cheaper for just as good of a lift. TeraFlex actually is the more adjustable of the two lifts.

If you do go with AEV i suggest getting the control arm drop brackets. They make the jeep handle a hell of a lot better on and off road.

Either way you will be happy with either company, sorry if thats not much help haha!
