If you are going to do some serious wheeling, you might want to replace it with this one:

It is MUCH stronger and should work fine with your lift. (you have a 2", right?)

NOTE - My advice is not from experience, but from reading everyone else's experiences.

The frame mounted drop brackets don't seem to be the problem, just some of the axle mounted brackets.

So far It holds up fine with both RubyDoo and RubyJeep and we wheel almost every weekend.

If it is the same braket that I have you have nothing to worry about. It mounts over and in place of the existing braket and then seprately connects to the axle tube. It doesn't put any stress on the old connections and is much stronger than the factory mount.

Is it
Part #1954777?

If so you are set.

I can't speak for that one. I would PM Joe at Teraflex. He should be able to help you out.

That's what I got, works great and does not stress the mount. You should be good.

I put on the same lift and had similar questions. After reading a ton and posting my own questions I believe that the Teraflex frame mounted extension bracket should be fine. The problems discussed on the Forum and other web sites were specific to the axle mounted extension bracket which seemed to vulnerable to more shear forces compared with the factor axle bracket.
