I had enough slack in my antenna coaxial so I figured I'd give it a try and see how it works
OK great, so it had nothing to do with the new hinge. Glad to hear it. Thanks

Correct, nothing to do with the hinge. I asked them about it when I ordered the hinge way beck when and they told me it would be fine since the cb mount came with longer bolts and they were right. It would have worked just fine on the right side, but for better clearance it's on the left now

Two questions:

OK since you are putting half of the tire carrier on the hinge (a raised surface), do you need a spacer for the other side?

and...

Who did you guys order from? I think I want one.

There are two spacers for the left side of the bracket to raise it up.

I ordered directly through teraflex but can also get them from off road warehouse

One rubber support gets removed and the other stays on. I have daystar stops so might buy another set since it has to be longer.

Third brake light is still on the original tire carrier.

And the row of holes are supposed to be for additional add ons rotopax and high lift jack that have not been released yet.

mrlobaloba is correct, it came with spacers for the left side while the right mounts on top of the hinge part. the rubber tire support on the right side gets removed while the left side stays in. The holes on the right are for add ons. If I remember correctly they are coming out with rotopax carrier and hi-lift jack mount that bolts into those holes.

as far as the 3rd brake light goes, i took the stock one out of the arm on the carrier since it was covered up by my tire and wired in a small LED light and put together a bracket to hold it on a spoke of my spare wheel. See pics below

Thank you. Who did you order from? I looked on ORW. They have the hinge, but not the tire carrier. I was wondering if it was available yet.

Anytime man. I pre-ordered from TF back first week of may, you may be able to get on quickly or maybe not. I don't know what their supply is currently like.

I think I read recently that they had some changes that had to be made to the actual carrier piece and production was a little behind, but it would be out soon. If you have time I would call them and ask or send them a PM on here.

Check out this thread, I think it's where the mention of the delay in carrier production is https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/spon...-order-228535/
