Default Teraflex Level Kit & Bushwacker Flats

Hey Guys,

I am currently running a Teraflex Leveling kit with Bushwacker flats on a 2012 Rubicon with 285/70/17 BFG ATs on AEV Pintlers.

I am thinking about getting some Duratrac 315/70/17's for the spring/summer. I need the smaller above tires for Winter as I use chains frequently so the extra space is ideal.

Besides possibly trimming the pinch seam would I need to do anything else for the 315's, issues at full flex? I have 4.10 gears already.

Thanks

I would like to know this as well. marmot74, I would also like to see some pics of your rig the way it sits. I have been thinking about flats as well.

I asked the same question a while back and I was told a leveling kit w flat flares are good for 35s. The 315s measure around 34 so that shouldn't be a problem at all.

From everyone else on this forum running that setup, you'll have plenty of room.

I have the Leveling Kit and Xenon flats with Toyo 33.5's, and there's still plenty of room. I'm looking to bump up in size ASAP.

I have a 2012 with Bushwacker flat flares and 315/70/17 Safari TSR's that measure out to 34 inches. They are on Blackrock wheels that have 4.50 Backspacing. Here is a pic with no lift. The only rub I got on the street was it would rarely catch and rub the end of the front bumper.
I have since added an LOD front and rear bumper and a Warn PowerPlant winch. I added an 1 1/2 in up front and 3/4 in in the back. That got me back to stock Height. I haven't wheeled it yet but I know I'm going to have to do the pinch seam cut. I've heard but it might take a 1 1/2 in bumpstop in the rear. I will figure that out in the next couple of days.
