Teraflex Leveling Kit Questions
Finally finished up my install this morning -- in the flat, level driveway, being extra extra careful about safety.
Reprogrammed the computer to recognize the new tire size and everything's working great. So happy with this kit. Pretty sure I'm going to stop here for a long time. Winch/bumpers/etc would be great but I have to say this is the perfect amount of lift for me with 33's, no need to get into adjustable trackbars, control arms, etc... it's just perfect the way it is.
But I reserve the right to change my mind
I went wheeling with my Stock Jk 4door on Saturday and on Sunday Mourning . Installed the Leveling kit.
1. Lifted one corner at a time, Shocks and sway bars, Out popped the spring , installed spacers,
back together less than an hour.. Ready to go wheeling again and hope to not drag as much of
the undercarriage..

I tried the "one corner at a time" method - had already done the fronts (two corners at a time) so tried the rears one at a time, but couldn't get the axle to drop low enough to remove the spring. Had to remove the wheel on the opposite side and let the axle drop a little farther. I think the rear sway bar (is there such a thing? Is that what it is?) was being held too high on the other side because the wheel was still mounted. Once I removed both wheels, the axle went way down and the spring came out easily.

Installed my kit last night.....we took the wheels off and did one side at a time. The first corner took longer but once we completed it....we were pro's and the other sides went on with no problems.....the only thing that sucks...is that I ended up breaking one of the nipples on the sway bar links....now i have to go buy a nipple and fix it. I love the new look....the 33's just filled it up too much so now there is more space

Did mine yesterday. Thanks to all who wrote tips, tricks and traps.
They all helped make the job easier.
Took about three hours but we took our time and cleaned and anticeazed (sp) the hubs before putting on the spacers.
The backs didn't fit up into place (seat properly) until we jacked up the rear axle and the springs pushed the spacers into the hole.
Must update my profile and find my camera.
btw......It look great

Got mine in yesterday, I used gpwpat's directions and spacers went in without any problems. 21" Floor jack and a piece of a 2x4 for extra height at the rear was high enough to do it. Leaving the wheels on saved time for sure.
I got the TF quick disconnects with the kit too, but there were no instructions for the hardware. Luckily, Project-JK has a write up on them and it was pretty similar, however I only printed the photos to have as a back up, without reading the write up. So i had one snag...
But, Dave at Northridge (answered his phone on a Sat afternoon) answered a key question about fitting the links onto the disconnect pins: "See the metal sleeves on the links? Remove them." Yep. That simple, and that did it. Thanks Dave!
If I can figure out how to post pics again I'll edit this with a few. or just one
