After driving it this week, I have found only one problem... the wheel wells look awfully empty with the stock 32's.

Nicely done and I have to agree, my wheel wells are crying for some new tires after installing the Teraflex Leveling Kit. Just can't bring myself to buy them while the old ones still have miles left on them. I should move farther from work...

Default Great write up!

The before & after pictures were especially nice.

Would a coil spring compressor make this job any easier?

My kit is on its way.

Thanks.

If you are doing it the shade tree way (ie: with a jack and some jack stands, no lift) than a spring compressor can make it easier, as you may have issues getting the back high enough to get the springs out with regular jack stands.

Glad to see more forum members installing the leveling kit and having good results. I am fortunate to have a friend who has a LIFT in his garage and air tools... took an hour without rushing. Only had to unbolt the rear brake line bracket as far as anything NOT in the instructions.

Had to make ZERO adjustments to steering wheel and NO change in handling or ride. Can't believe the amount of Lift my Rubicon got for all of $119

Now it's all about saving for new rims and tires to fill out the wheel wells that look very empty. It is my daily driver so will be going with Toyo 33's X 11.5 and I'm torn between Rugged Ridge Black Alloys or ProComp 7005's. I know that 33's look smallish compared to 35's on an Unlimited but really didn't want to lift it more than the Leveling kit. My 5'2" wife has a hard enough time getting in it and putting our 4 year old son into his seat in the back.

I'm thinking 33'sx11.5 as well... I think that will fit well. Too bad I have so much tread on the stock tires...

FYI ... put the front ones are first and see if you JK is level. I only needed to install the front spacers on mine ... left the back ones off ...
