Make sure you use a jack to hold the slider tightly in place when marking holes. If the slider is bent/damaged you wont be able to suck it into body. Oil the little rivnut tool ,or it will break. Cry a little when you drill into a perfectly nice body. The button head screws are stainless and the thread will deform easily. If you over tighten the screw and wish to remove later, you could be in trouble. Also make sure you set the rivnut tight to keep it from turning with the screw.

Oh it isn't perfectly good body work! Thats the main reason I got these....to help cover some of the battle wounds from Jeep vs. big tree's.

I just got mine as well; when i pulled them out of the box i noticed they are bowed to the outside (as they would be sitting on jeep). I'm assuming this is normal, since they appear to have a slight bend in the picture on the installation sheet.

For those that have already installed them, did the bend affect you're ability to accurately mark the location for the holes when you put it up in position?

Beta-pg, how is your install going?

Thanks

My install has been placed on hold for a couple of days. I got my new hot tub delivered yesterday and was busy working at that...had to build a new gate for my fence on top of that I have a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament in 2 weeks that I'm trying to get ready for! I'll probably do them on Thursday. How's your's coming along?
