All the top companies make good lifts and you will probably pay more or less the same if you spec out all the lifts with the same components. There are a lot of reviews on all of the top manufacturers on this forum, good and bad. Read them all and see what works best for you.

You are not ready to buy a lift if you don't even know who the players are.

Stop knocking him for not knowing he's asking to learn don't make people feel they can't ask question because of fear if being ridiculed.

But to answer the op teraflex are good but they aren't the best. I've heard a lot about their track bar being sketchy.

In my opinion you have some extreme lifts like evo which you can't do unless you want to spend some serious cash

After that you got the hardcore everyday jeeps with your rock krawler and metal cloak which are great strong lifts.

After that you have every other lift. These are good lifts but just of slightly less quality. Tf in my option would be in here and also rough country, rancho, skyjacker etc

Depends on what kind of lift you want, if your going for a more street worthy rig then AEV will give you a better on road ride, for extreme travel, rock krawler has their max travel kit which gives quiet a bit of articulation, I feel as though Teraflex is in between with roadworthiness( although not as smooth as AEV's suspension kits) but does have a little bit more travel then the AEV but not as much as RK

I'm looking into putting together a lift piecemeal and teraflex seems to be the most popular (and basic). What do you mean by the tf trackbar being sketchy?

Our current trackbars have no issues with them. Some of the early front trackbars did have some issues with them.

Well glad to hear you've fix the problem. I have no personal experience with teraflex so I'm not going to comment on their system but what I do have experience with is rock krawler and it's been great. If I was you and if I could do it again id do it like this the rock krawler stock mod is very moderately priced 500 without shocks you get springs rear relocation bracket and a front track bar all these things are a good start and then from there you can but the control arms when you desire. This is a smart money wise situation if your really on a budget and don't want to lose quality. now I don't want you to think I'm a Rk fanboy or whatever they call it I'm just going off personal experience. Also RK lifts are much larger than advertised.

Good Stuff. Good support.
I had a question about my system and they answered the phone and were very knowledgable.
I recommend Teraflex. They are great.

That being said, what do you want from the lift? Research the brands mentioned on this thread and see what they have to offer. You might save a lot by researching before you buy.

To some it matters where their components are made. Does it to you? Many systems are made here in the USA (and at the same price) while many aren't.
