Default Teraflex suspension systems?

Are they really as amazing as everyone claims them to be? Every time I see a specs list for others jeeps it usually a teraflex suspension set up, are they really good systems? I'm not knocking on anybody, I'm just curious.

Teraflex lift was the first mod i did. Got tf bc of forum recommendations, word of mouth and tbh, marketing. They have a lot more youtube videos and they really get their name out.

As a beginner, I knew of TF and poison spyder before I heard of metalcloak, rock crawler and rubicon express

I don't know any of those brands except tf and poison spyder. I'm not sure. I do like teraflex systems. But most of the stuff I've seen ham a high price tag... But I guess if you're paying for a pretty damn good quality product why not? Lol.

I was torn on which lift to pot on my 08 and chose teraflex. When I purchased my 2013 jkur there was no dilemma in which lift to install. Teraflex! Absolutely love the way it rides. Much improvement over stock. Also they stand behind their products. That's why teraflex is #1 choice for me. I just also ordered their tire carrier

Good company, but there are a lot of good companies out there. They've got a lot of fanboys on this website along with Rock Krawler. This doesn't make their products any worse or better than the dozen or so other companies supplying the same stuff. Like the rest of the manufacturers out there they make a range of products from incomplete, low-end budget boost kits to big-money 6" long arm kits.

My coil lift, track bars, control arms, exhaust spacers, axle sleeves, and diff covers are Tera Flex. They have been in the game for a while and over the years. On this forum they seemed to be the popular choice (arguably) based on quality and customer service. I really like the videos as well. I have learned a bunch from them, and like that they have fun doing them; incorporating humor. Rock Krawler is right up there as well. I am starting to see more guys running Metal Cloak lifts. They appear to be the new kids on the block so we will so if their popularity grows over time and how things work-out for owners of their products over the long haul. There are some other good lifts/components out there, but TF and RK seem to be #1 and #2 (no particular order) when dealing with suspension components and complete systems IMO.

TF does a lot of marketing and they do have a good series of how to videos. only issue I find and have seen fail many times are their control arm joints - they are not johnny joints but a cheap Chinese made knock off that fail more frequently than normal. when I shopped for lifts I considered TF but they wouldn't return a call and every time I called to ask questions the phone support was not knowledgeable enough to answer and would always tell me they would have someone call me back... which never happened, gave up after 5 calls, I almost spent a $$$$ of money with them.

I went with Clayton Offroad premium lift - cheaper than TF and it has held up to some offroad abuse. Unlike my buddies TF lift - he's had to replace his bushings twice already within a year.

Can't say about JK arms, but the bushings were awful on my teraflex arms on my old WJ.

Clayton makes some really tough, good, suspensions.

Sent from some string and a few tin cans.

Been running TF 2.5 in coil lift on 35's for three years on/off road. Absolutely no complaints.
As for price, you get what you pay for. TF, to me, is a little more than medium priced but
quality is there. Suspension is one thing you don't want to be cheap on. Handling is 80 pct
of the game. By the way I got approx 3 in lift out of the 2.5 coil lift.
