They are heavy duty pieces of hardware and work fine, I used them for a few months, yesterday I bought a new set of Skyjacker Nitro 8000's for the 2.5" lift and wow they ride great on road and will test them offroad tomorrow. The extensions will save you a few dollars is all.

of course it will, and there are some 1" spacers you can add I believe to the front. I have the stubby Shrockworks bumper with a Warn 9.5XP but switched to synthetic line, 50x better using the winch now. It's stronger than the steel anyway, but so much lighter and it doesn't bunch up under a loaded pull which I've experienced with the steel cable once. What a PIA to untangle that mess. I saved a lot of weight switching to syn.

Mine has a stock rake appearance right now, did't really change much whenI added all the crap up front.

My front end sagged 1.25" after I added about 160lbs of stuff to the front. winch, RC mounting plate, 2 skids, compessor.

On the subject of shock adapters. Has anybody had any issues running without them? Shocks topping out, etc.

I did on my 06 Rubi, especially in the back, they would top-out on the local streets with bad paving, and offroad they really sucked. $140 with the right size shocks and it road like a Caddy.....well for a Jeep anyway. So I learned my lesson when I did the 2.5BB on the JK.

if you know youre going to add that much weight, i would reccomend ome hd coils and shocks.
then you dont have a pile of spacers and overcompressed coils
4 ome coils anf the correct shocks is less than 700 shipped from northridge.
i screwed around with a bb and spacers and extentions, i never realized how bad it handled to i took it alll out and put in the ome.... what a huge difference!!!!!!!!

this is merely MY opinion.
