I noticed that your kit does not come with bump stop extensions. Are you relying on the shorter stroke of the stock shocks to bottom on? If so, as mentioned before, do you feel you're dual point shock extentions on the rear are strong enough for real off roading? Also is there any issues with over compressing the springs with your kit?

Well we have covered the bump stops by offering a 2.5" kit with our RCX2.2 shocks that have a joust bumper built in. I would hope that someone really wanting to wheel there JK would spend the extra $100 (which is a heck of a deal) and opt for the 2.2 shocks. As for the over compression of the springs we have not had that issue on either our 4-dr Rubicon or our 2-dr.

do you feel that just 2 points is strong enough not to snap the shock mounts??[/QUOTE]

Yes our 2 point is very strong....we wouldn't put it out there without vigorous testing at our local off road park. That's one of the perks of working here. After a lift is designed we take it straight out to www.ccorv.com and begin testing. You can rest assured that any Rough Country kit has been throughly thrashed before it hits production. I'll try and get you guys some video soon.

Video would be cool. I was thinking about lifting my JK 4", but to do it right will mean new drive shafts and all. That would chomp into my budget pretty good, and it would be a long time before I could afford tires/winch/bumper, ect., so the 2.5 BB kits are looking more and more attractive. Besides that, I will likely never push my Jeep to where it will need more than 2.5". The TeraFlex kit with shocks and bumpstops is a tick under 400 bucks. At least that's as cheap as I've seen it. I'm a stickler for ride quality, as it sounds like others are here, too. A crummy ride would make me just snatch everything back out and put stock stuff back on. When all is said and done, I'm just gonna have to do my homework. ....oh and on a side note, if your kit is available with shocks and bumpstops, you might want to update your web site, because that is not there that I saw.

Here is a pic of our 2.5 kit on our 30 degree RTI ramp. This kit also has our 2.2 shocks on it. Let me know what you think.

FWIW I have the tera BB on mine with the tera SSV shocks and could not be happier. I originally bought the BB w/o shocks and ran a cheaper twin tube shock (Rough Country) and was not pleased with the wheel travel or the ride quality (too mushy for the heavier JK & too short) and ordered the Tera shocks. Now I have more wheel travel and a much better ride.
Glad you like our shocks!

Were you using our new 2.2 shocks? Because the only twin tube shocks we have for the JK are for 1.75"s of lift and that would be why you had travel issues and ride quality problems. Our 2.2 shocks have been specifically valved for the JK so a great ride should be there as well as wheel travel. I think the pics I posted speak volumes.
