Terrible Squeak from Undercarriage, Pass. Side
Actually, when I get the underside nice and wet, it seems to go away for a bit.
I don't think so, seems to be right above the gas tank or something. But I will check...
I am a bit bad and run around disco'd...
Otherwise, I would think this was the culprit as well.
Edit: I went outside to re-examine. It is nearly impossible to pinpoint as it seems like it comes from above the gas tank. But it is for sure not suspension related.

Sound can bounce back at you from weird angles. It may seem to be coming from the tank area but it's probably up front.

You may be correct, but I have tried to isolate the noise from inside as well as outside, and every time I do, I end up somewhere near the front 1/3rd of my gas tank.
I went out of my mind, for almost a year, looking for a high pitched squeak that sounded like it was coming from the dash. I did it all and tried everything. One day I was wrenching on the Jeep and loosened the body bushing bolts and the squeak was gone! I sprayed them down good with WD-40 and torqued them back to spec. Every couple months I respray and the world seams a little brighter now. Hahaha
Worth a try, just spray em down good and go for a drive. I would have bet my paycheck it was coming from the dash. Good luck.

Well guys, after poking and prodding the thing to death, I figured out that the culprit was actually the gas tank itself. I don't know if a rock or something got in between the tank and the tub, or if a mount is squeaking, or what. Anyways, when I pulled the tank down towards the ground (and the skid) and shook the Jeep, no noise. But all I had to do was move the tank up and down and it squawked like a dying Macaw. So being a resourceful (cheap) college student, I decided to chop about 1/3 off of a 2.5" diameter bouncy ball and shoved it into the gap between the body and tank. Bing, bang, boom... no noise!
Much thanks to everyone who chimed in, though! I'm sure that I will need your words of wisdom when I get a lovely, new noise.
