Default Are adj. lower arms useless on a TF 2.5" lift?

I installed the 2.5" TF lift with shocks about 2 yrs ago and ever since the Jeep has had that flighty feeling at highway speeds which I've grown used to. I want to buy a set of TF adj. lower arms but after reading through countless posts I'm finding hard to determine if the arms will help my handling. I mean, all the posts I seem to be reading are from those who have a minimum of 3" of lift. I've also read that with a 2.5" lift, the arms won't do much. Is this true?

As you have seen from your experience, the 2.5" lift changed the handling. How much difference is there between a 2.5 and 3" lift? Adjustable controls arms may not be necessary with a 2.5" lift, but if you don't like the change in handling then adjustable lowers will let you restore the handling. You will find plenty of info on this site and the Teraflex site that will help you replace them yourself and perform the alignment.

Get them, you won't be sorry. My lift started out as a TF 2.5 (changed to OME HD after adding bumpers) and the adjustable lower control arms return the steering to a stock feel. I set mine at 23" and was happy with the handling.

I run Skyjacker 2.5" springs and shocks with a JKS adjustable trackbar up front. Right now i only have a relocation bracket on the stock rear trackbar. Handles beautifully. Goes 75mph beautifully. My only complaint is a bit of a rough ride. This i attribute to poly bushings and kevlar sidewalls.

I will be looking into these AEV brackets.
