If the upper bracket is a crap shoot, you shouldn't even offer it. Why not just include the axle bracket in the kit instead (especially in light of the fact that it also offers handling/geometry benefits)? I know it's $100 vs. $40, but I'm sure you could have a less expensive axle bracket that is for the 2.5 lift only (with out multiple holes for up to 6" lifts). That would reduce costs closer to the frame bracket.
Guess what , 3/4 the shit we buy for these JK's have fitment issues, I know I have had personally from damn near everything from seat covers to floorliner to different suspension and steering components. I guess maybe you have to have some sense of mechanics when installing a part or you can leave it to a shop and they're gonna do the same thing to make it work. Either your gonna wrench and do what any mechanic would do or you can sit back and cry about it like a know nothing nerd and ship pieces back that someone with abit more sense could make work. Ask any mechanic or fellow jeepers on here if EVERYTHING that they've put on their jeep fit like butter. The JK or any other for that matter.

My mechanical skills are just fine. But a "bolt on" kit should be just that. If there is such a significant variation in the rear frame holes that you might have to "wrench and do what any mechanic would do", then the bracket should come with NO holes at all. That way the installer could simply slide the blank bracket in the frame, mark their own holes, and drill for a perfect fit. I stand by my original comment. Offering a pre-drilled bracket that may or may not line up is piss poor.

Well then most of the manufacturers of lifts and bolt-ons are piss poor if you go by your evaluation. The JK itself varies in the holes drilled from the factory, guess everyone is piss poor then. I've installed a bunch of lifts and I can tell you there are slight differences in all that I've seen.

Don't blame TF, Blame Chrysler! Take it to a welder have hime weld up the holes then you can mark and drill for your appliciation. Done!

Just for the record, the upper/frame track bar bracket is not essential to the kit and has very little performance effect. The primary reason it is in the kit is to center the axle assembly. When the BB was developed it did not come with the bracket but we noticed a rather high percentage of people buying brackets from various manufacturers at 60, 70 and even $80.00 a unit and it was the frame mounted design. We decided to add the bracket at the frame end and increase the kit about $15 to meet the needs of our customers. We have made a revision to the bracket to make installation as good as possible but we do see a lot of variance from the factory frames in this area. It is important that the bracket fit tight to prevent issues down the road so we felt that some of the installations that require the holes to be reamed are better than some applications being sloppy and clunking after a few hundred/thousand miles.
An adjustable track bar is a good option as well but my advice to anyone who is worried about this bracket is just leave it off. If the rear axle centering bothers you then you can spend the effort to install the bracket but I suspect than most people won't worry about the almost imperceptible axle center offset and certainly you will not feel anything in the seat of your pants in the drive ability.

That's what Joe said was going to happen in the below thread. Thanks for listening.

Mine was off also, but fit perfectly after I used a metal file to enlarge the frame holes slightly. Still spent an hour or so scratching my head trying to figure out why the bracket didn't fit right out of the box, but like Mike says, "Guess what, 3/4 the shit we buy for these JK's have fitment issues . . ." That's why he's known locally as mkhammer (instead of mkjeep) when he's working on his JK.
