I think you made the correct decision for your riding. I just wouldn't suggest them to someone to does a lot of dirt overland riding.
I know every one has a opinion too . What one loves another does not .
Im mostly on back roads in the mountains here roads are all broke up from frost heaves from frost that destroys tar roads , right now I hit every bump like even a stick in the road the size of a pencil its magnified like a bag of rocks other than shocks I cant think of what would be causing such a jarring ride . This rubicon only sees logging roads in the fall so its not like the springs would be played out . I did by new synergy ball joints but haven't put them in yet due to I don't realy see any thing wrong with the factory ones when they were checked . But I was thinkin maybe it would help the ride with better ball joints its a 6 speed with 41o gearing and only 23 ,000 bought new when going down the road the shifter is ridiculous the way it shakes ( on a bumpy road ) you would have to keep your hand on it for fear it might damage something letting it shake lol . that's the kind of ride im trying to help . if im on a smooth fresh paved road ? no problems rides like a caddy hit a ripple or two and you feel like you have square wheels does not handle washboard or dirt roads well at all unless your crawling

The old man emu nitro charger sport shocks make for a really nice ride too. I get compliments on how nice my jeep rides. Might be worth looking into as well.

Very true on "too soft a shock and a rougher ride"
There's other factors w/ ride too... like spring type/rate. Caster angle, tire psi/load range, 2 door/4 door, etc etc. You can find two people with the same jeep/same setup
Both will have different opinions. Maybe one has shittier roads in his area (me)
What is great w/ Rancho shocks ... The 90 day return warranty. For whatever reason you don't like them .. Return them.
I am Running 4 front and 3 rear around town.
Dampen well on some real shitty roads. The big potholes can be a little rough, so I Try to avoid if possible.

2nd time around with the 9000
Stock rubicon
5100
TF 9550
Rancho 9000 28xl/29xl
Fox 2.0 res
Rancho 7000
Rancho 9000 30xl/31xl
I would still have the 7000's. A friend sold his jeep with newly installed 9000's. I bought them for cheap, installed along with new RK Coils. Sold the 7000 a month later

can you post link for this deal? I ordered the ranchos from 4wheelparts hoping that I could pick them up because they have 2 locations near my home but 2 of them are on back order until mid July. F that.

Is the 2" sport lyft more of just a leveling kit? I actually like the stock rake of my Jeep but I wouldn't mind going up just 2 inches all around.
