Third Brake Light Mod
Has any hardtop owner relocated the third brake light to the hard top itself? I think the light extensions provided with the tire carrier are gawdy and cheap. Thought maybe someone installed an after market light to the hartop with a quick disconnect for top removal. Would like to know how and what you did!
I have thought about this Mod myself.
I also have a street Rod (39 Chevy Coupe) and have seen a few of the LED third brake lights offered by different vendors.
The only and major drawback I can think of would be that the third brake light would be very high up. Because I have a 4.5" lift and 37" tires.......
Still kicking it arouund.

No one should have a problem seeing it then-
I will do it once I find a light I like, so far, this seems to have my attention

im not trying to be a smart a$$ but i know someone is going to say it. If you incorporate it into the hardtop don't you loose it when you remove the hardtop. I like the idea but that means you have to have a third brake light when the top is off. I am all for a better looking thing than the ET that is above my tire. Hope i didn't make any waves....
If your Jeep is up THAT high, you may be able to use one of those hitch mounted third brake lights. It'd probably be the direct line of sign of most car drivers!!
