Thanks for the feedback! For reference, I have a 2 door 6 speed. My local wheeling is very rocky. This is my dd so while I do foresee a monthly wheeling trip, I don't plan to do anything extreme, but I also know that if I go with a group, you sometimes get places you didn't necessarily expect. I guess that is where a winch and skid plates come into play?

33s would be good for a 2 door. 35s on a 4 door with a regear.

I like my 33s and they get me where I need to go.

Someone here with experience help me out please! I have an 08 4dr X. I'm leaning towards a 2in coil procomp lift (does Teraflex make a 2" in coil kit?) and doing a 34" inch MT/R.

If I want to add 5.13's, what am I looking at price wise? installed? And this is prob a stupid question but when re-gearing do you have to do front and rear diff's? What is the total cost of regearing to 5.13's?

Teraflex makes a complete 2.5" Coil lift kit, also prices on gears I believe are around $300-400 plus install. Looks like you are not lucky like myself, Screamin Lizards in Texas does gears and install for $999 along with Offroad Evolution in California. Best bet is to talk to David and Northridge and he can direct you on which brand and type of gears to get. Good luck

Yes, you need to regear both front and rear diff. You may also want to look at RC if you are hard up for cash. I have the 3.25 and can fit 34s. RC 3.25 is about the same lift you get with Terflex 2.5 coil lift. If you can afford it, go with teraflex 2.5.

Edit, be prepared to either buy wheel spacers or new wheels too to replace factory wheels, the factory backspae will give you issues with almost any lift.

Trust me your going to be glad you have them. I use mine as a daily. I even seem to have pickup the gas mileage with my Rockhard set. Aerodynamics who would have thought.
Evap canister skid is important, so is some kind of oil pan protection. Diff protection as well. The stock skids are fine though, I wouldnt bother replacint. The transfer case wil likly last a very long time. The gas tank one will last less. Mine is beat to hell but is still kicking. Since I got the larger tires and lift , i have hit it a lot less though.

I know the feeling, I got the RC 3.25 kit which gave me 3 inchs in the front and 2 inches in the rear. I am wishing I had more lift now. My tires fit but I would like a little more belly clearance plus I dont like the stuffed look.
