Thoughts on these PR44 set ups
You bet Kjeeper10. The new Dynatrac JK44 Axleshaft Kits for JKs was engineered to fill a gap in strength and price between imported aftermarket axleshafts and RCVs. The fronts are made from high-strength 4340 chromoly and the come with new 1350 U-joints. They fit stock Dana 44 axles and our ProRock 44 without any modifications.
The first version of the rear JK44 Axheshaft Kits (available now) are larger in diameter, going from 32 to 35 spline, so they are perfect for someone who is interested in upgrading the rear differnetial and the rear axleshafts at the same time. These have a deep heat-treat for optimum resistance to twisting without making them too brittle. We developed unique, billet steel retainers for improved installation and serviceability. The rears come with new bearings and seals.
Both front and rear axleshaft kits are Made in the USA.
You can post more specific questions if you have them, and you can see more info here: Axleshaft Kits

I was were you are now and I went with plan A
id get the pro rock with the RCV axles
i went with 5.13's, but I was definitely going to 37's at the same time
i have a blast wheeling and feeling confident in my axles not letting me down

Honestly, shame on anyone who bends the flanges on a semi float rear axle and wants a warranty.
At the price listed on their website they are about twice the cost of the a Ten Factory rear shafts, which do have the flange warranty. I would love to run the dynatrac rear shafts, they are USA made from a stand up company. But really, paying twice the price of they aren't warrantied like the competition is too big a stretch don't you think?
We offer a 1-year warranty on the axleshafts. We know others offer longer warranties, and we considered it. But ultimately, we know that we engineered and manufacture stronger products, and most of our customers know that we won't make a part unless it is the best in the market. If you bend or break our axlehshafts, you're most like beyond what a Dana 44 was designed to handle.

All kidding aside, I would love to at least see a tire size recommendation for your shafts. Or some sort of strength comparison vs other aftermarket shafts. Without the warranty and hard facts I just can't justify twice the price with no way to compare and the others warrantied. And I want to try them too I'm a believer in your products, and have some on my rig now I don't question the quality, just the benefit over others.

To me, the indication of how a company stands behind their products is all in the warranty. If you really think they are the best, then put your money where your mouth is.
Yet RCV still has a lifetime warranty on their rear shafts (bending included). And Ten Factory has a 10 year warranty. To me, the indication of how a company stands behind their products is all in the warranty. If you really think they are the best, then put your money where your mouth is.
