Default Throttle body spacer

This combined with a air intake system is supposedly going to gain 8 hp anyone have a better result? Or is it a waste of time?

waste of time.....got one free with my airaid, made no difference, so i took it off, snakeoil junk.

X2. There's a lot on this forum and elsewhere on the net that explains exactly why a throttle body spacer is just more weight on the suspension - nothing more.

Ya I would say it isn't worth it!!! These motor are weak sauce unless you supercharge it, but thats ok its a jeep. Put you money into something else.

A mechanic friend of mine explained to me that the engine was created to give a certain amount of horsepower, and perform in a designated manner, and the only thing I could do to increase power and performance was a supercharger. All of the other things I had attempted, including CAI systems, were just a waste of my money in this regard.

X2. The only seat of the pants HP increase is a sprint booster and it's not even that. Sprint booster makes your under powered over weight turd more driver friendly but doesn't actually give you any power gains. CAI and throttle body spacer are just money thrown in the trash...
