Default Tips for steering wheel adjustment

Anyone have any tips or tricks I can use to loosen the adjustment screw for the gearbox on a 2010 jk I got the nut loose but can’t get the flat head screw on the inside loose for the adjustment blasted it with pb blaster a bunch on times

Leave that alone. It isn't used for what/ how you think it is and if you're trying to make gear box adjustments then you're likely due for a new box.

Sounds unusual for someone to access the gearbox and you have given no information on what you want to achieve.

Typically, people who are working on the steering wheel are trying center it.
If you are trying to center the wheel, then you just need a 15mm box end wrench and you need to find the draglink.
