Default Tire Clearance

So, how much tire clearance do tube or xenon flat fenders give you? I would like to fit 34 or 35 inch tires with like no lift. Is it doable? Thanks!

In this thread... someone says they couldn't fit 35's with the flat fenders. They had to install a lift...

Awesome! I already removed all that plastic junk on the front of my Jeep in favor of a Rugged Ridge XHD Stubby. Is bushwacker going to make some flat fenders? Plus, how does the wider xenon flares look compared to the skinny ones?

ummm they look wider ?

hahaha

basically if the cops bust balls around you, get the wide to cover the tire and spare yourself from tickets... if they dont get the skinny ones they look much better (not like wings)

either ones look 100% better then stock...

I had the wides, ditched them for the narrows.. both look good, I just preferred the narrows, there isnt a law where I live about tire coverage on passenger vehicles.. I am good to go.

Yeah, I went with the narrows. They look better, and I shouldn't bash them on the trail because the tires will take the hit before the fenders do. Can't wait to get them! I'm dissapointed though that I can't get a 35 inch super swamper SSR to fit my Rubicon rims!

I sure wish I could see a picture of 34 or 35 inch tires with just a 1 inch body lift and flat fenders!

Sweet! That gives me WAY more confidence! I didn't want it to look like a jeep on balloon tires.
