You can, it may rub a bit on the pinch seem though... My buddy put my 35" KM2's on his stock JK with only rubi coils and ran them ok... What type of rim are you running...

It's roughly a 33.3" tire so, you will be fine... My suggestion (cheapest way) put diff coils on if you haven't already... I'd go with (stock) 18/59 or 19/60....

Here you go. The first post on this page has 1.5" lift with that tire size you are wondering about.

Oh sorry you said no lift You will need to trim your flares or get flats with stock suspension. If you don't wheel you might be fine with just wheel spacers.

No problem. 295/70/17 = approx 33.3x11.6/17
I have Nitto Trail Grapplers on stock Rubicon wheels (7.5" wide) with Spydertrac 1.5 spacers. I do have a minor lift, but on the trail with factory bump stops and factory fenders, I do not rub.
Hope that helps your decision.

Edit reason: Should of added the following:

The factory alloy wheels have a 6.25"bs and +51 offset. Adding 1.5" wheel spacers gives it a 4.75"bs and +12 offset. A positive offset is good on a JK. My tires stick out about 3/4" past fenders. Flexing at full steering cock, I don't rub. (That sounded wrong) Anyway, if it came down hard with wheel straight, it may touch fenders.

Also I do not know if it will rub air damn at full turn.

I'm going to stay on stock 17 inch aluminums, and yea I was looking at the trail grapplers, do they make a lot of noise on road? And if the 295 grapplers are going to rub I'm just going to go with 285 BFG KO's

They have a very slight hum at 70mph. Less than BFG KM2's, more than BFG KO's.
Be aware, 295x70/17 Nitto Trail Grapplers M/T's are "E" rated and heavy (72lbs each I think). Plus stock alloy wheels at 24lbs= 96lbs. Before I ran the Nitto's I ran 15" Black Rock alloy rims at 17lbs and 35x12.5x15 (load ratng C) at 61lbs. Total 78lbs and no spacers. Better ride on rough terrain and less power lose, but hard to balance to my satisfaction. Also did NOT like how the tires stuck out (I'm very anal). Nittos balanced with little weight and smooth Street ride.
Spydertac wheel spacers are hub and wheel centric. May contribute to better ride than the lug centric Black Rocks.
If I did it again, I would look for a "lighter" tire.
I guess it's time for me to regear.

Yea I'm definitely going to go with the Spidertrax 1.5" and I like the more widened stance that the spacers make.
