Default Tire prices?

Just wondering if anybody beats discount tire on pricing? I live in Houston, tx and a 33inch tire is about $285- 305?

Sometimes yes. I ended up getting my Duratracs from 4WD Hardware last year because they undercut everyone on the price and still got them to me quickly.

Google and calling local shops. I found 35" KM2s for $305 at 4 Wheel Parts for Discount Tire to price match earlier this year. Manager was pissy.

I'm in Houston too (Clear Lake Area) and I get the same prices online as you. However, I have found once ur in the door at the store they will cut prices depending on the sales guy. For instances, if they can't drop the price per tire, they may drop the cost to mount and balance and the valve stem to lower the out the door price.
And yeah, 4wheelparts (1960 for u) will match or beat too but I hate their Cust service. And I'm sure like yourself, the nearest one is 22 miles IN TOWN and that means 40-45 min commute when a discount is literally 2 miles in every direction. LoL

So, if you do manage to make a killer deal, let me know too! I'll do the same for you. I too am looking for 33/12.5R17's. Or 305/65R17

Good luck

I am also looking. My research lead me to TreadWright https://www.treadwright.com/p-118-31...m-t-b2b-d.aspx.
TreadWright does retread from recycling good top brand tires.
Reviews I've read so far are great!
Great pricing.
Good luck guys!

I buy a lot of tires from Discount Tire and always go on line and find the best pricing I can.

Then bring it in for them to beat the price and they always have for the same tire.

Saved a lot of money this way.

Like their service and prices a lot.

Default Kauffman

My local Kauffman Tire beat everyone on price. Plus got $60 rebate.

Kauffman Tire | Atlanta GA, Florida & Ohio Tires Online

I had a set of five 315/70R17 Duratracs put on new M/T Classic IIIs. They transferred my TPMS for free, replaced valve stems on new rims and old. Aired up my old tires and loaded them into my Jeep for me. They stand behind their work.

You can't beat local service. Especially when they have the best price.

X2

Got quotes from all the suppliers and Bryan at 4WD had the best price by $5-$10 a tire so went with him. I'm sure DTD would have matched but Bryan has always treated me well and had the best price from the get go and were in stock so went with him.
