I know you went the Nitto route, but in case anyone else is looking at this thread I personally love Mickey Thompson MTZP3's.

From personal experience driving through 3 feet of snow with higher drifts I can say that these tires are amazing in snow! They are also great off-road and on the highway. For a mud tire they are one of most quiet mud tires I have run. Highly recommended!
