Default Tire/rim switch

Have searched and there is so much info that I thought
I'd just ask instead.
Want to run a bigger and more aggressive tire this winter.
Drive 180 miles a week to work (mostly on the freeway).
Would like to get some of those moderately priced black
plain rims that are smaller then the stock ones on my
2007 4dr. Wrangler Sahara.
Saw them somewhere online for like $70 each.

Can someone tell me some suggestions for the tires
(or rims) to run this winter here in Iowa that might give
my Wrangler a little "badder look" and also be good on the highway.

Great sight by the way and TIA, Craig.

Hard to beat Cragar Soft 8's at Summit.
15x8's - $40
16x8's - $62
17x8's - $70

My advice is don't buy Black Rock steel rims. Whoever welded the ones I have to pay to return did not know what they were doing. 3 out of 5 are defective, the other 2 are questionable.

The Crager soft 8's are the ones I was thinking of.
How do I determine which size to replace the stock wheels
on my 2007 4dr. Wrangler?
Or does it depend on the tires that I'm putting on?
TIA, Craig.

Being in the rust belt I would go with an alloy in that they dont rust.
A 265/75/16 is what I ran that was larger than my stock 16'' tires
A Badder look would be most any M/T but they tend to be harder on gas louder and not as good in the snow.
A good choice would be
cooper S/T
Goodyear Duratrac
an aggresive A/T
