Tire sensors question
Wow, the door is telling me that my tires should be at 37PSI cold
. They must be jocking with 37 cold this jeep will bounce on the road like a ping pong ball.
Does it really has to be 37PSI for the light to go off? What is the allowable swing up or down for the light to stay off?
Also, I will be changing wheels/tires soon and I for sure will not be running 35/12.5/15" tires that high. Does that mean I will need to reprogram my CPU to have this light be ok with me running tires at 31 cold PSI?

The light comes on when it drops to 29psi.
The light goes out when it rises to 34psi.
I can really recommend the AEV Procal. It's not too expensive and you can set it to completely turn your TPMS light off if you want. For instance, if your next wheels have no TPMS sensors.
You can also reprogram the speedometer to show your exact speed after getting taller tires.

When I upgraded to 35s, I told my tire shop to remove the TPMS and just install regular, rubber, valve stems. I had, the night before, used my ProCal to disable the TPMS entirely.
I rotate every 3K and check the pressure every time.
I never knew the tire pressure was pre-set at 30PSI.
In my Toyota I can just hold a button down when turning the key on and off and it sets the tire pressure light at 5psi below what it reads when you set it.
I guess a flashpaq and rubber valvestems are in order!!!

I posted the chart once, but it takes a lot of editing to get the columns to line up correctly in a post.
I did everything i could think of to get my sensors to work, but nothing ever did, I bought my 35 with new sensors installed. after install by the time i went from park to drive the alert was no more
