Default Tire size help

Ok I fix'en to order some BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO I am trying beat the deadline for Discount tire direct deal and I have just been stressing over these tires.

The two sizes I am looking at are;

LT245/75R-17/E1 121R would a 245 be too skinny of a tire especially for a All Terrain tire? I wish they made a 255 but they don't.

LT265/70R-17/C1 112R 265 may hurt my gas mileage even more but may be more of a stable tire on the gral road I have to travel down.

I am just not real sure which one to get.

why not get the 265's? that is a 32 inch tire i believe and should fit without any rubbing.

265 is a bit more than a 32, but you are correct, there should be no rub at all.

The 245s are load range Es. They will beat you to death in a Jeep.

I am not too worry about the rubbing part everybody I talk to said they would fit.
Dose anybody know how much as far height in inches I will loose?
I don't want a noticeable weird looking tire. I am a little concern about it being wider and smaller as far as the Aspect Ratio goes (going from 75- to 70) and the width differents. Someone else told me I would really see the different by going to this size.
Right now I have 255-75-17 Goodyear Wranglers SR A

Ok I am just going to stop stressing over this. I went with what I thought would look at work best so I ordered the BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO LT265/70R-17/C1 112R

But this dose bring me to another question. I am almost positive they can reuse the Tire Sensors sense they are only 3 months old. So here is my new question.
Do I have to get an update on computer or something in the Jeep for the new tires? If I do where do I get this done at the dealers are tire store?

It depends on the shop mounting your tires. If they are butchers, they will break the sensor covers and so on. We've had our 34 inch tires load range D installed on stock Rubicon rims with no problems. No, you will not have to get new ones or get anything programmed provided they don't break anything.

Thanks,

Walmart who has fixed/patch several of my flat tires lately has been good about not breaking anything. This is the main reason why I need new tires I have 20,000 on them and they are shot.

I alway thought the sensors would pick up the spare tire but it has been back there flat and the tire light has not come on. But has come on when I had the flats on the main tires.
