Default Tires

I am going with the 3" Terraflex lift with 17inch rims.
I have narrowed it down to 3 different tires and wanted to get opinion on which one would be the best
35" Toyo Open Country Mud Tires
35" BFG M/T KM
35" Pro Comp Extreme Terrain

I haven't heard a lot about the procomps. They might be good but I just seem to hear a lot of bad.

Lots of people love the BFG's and lots of people run the toyo's. I don't know much about them but I will probably be getting them also. I have owned BFG's and been happy with them. I am thinking the toyo's will be a little quieter and better in the snow. Just my guess though.

Just take a look at Cooper STTs. Ive run several sets and love them. They are a little cheaper to boot.

I will be putting about 60 miles a day on the freeway for work each day, but surf in Baja, Mexico every month where I deal with deep soft sand, but not much Rock Crawling at all.

Thanks

You might want to consider an AT over an MT if your off road adventures are primarily on soft sand. Muds tend to dig into sand.

Jacks Jeep is right. You'll be very happy with the AT . I've tried both...

BFG MT's are a good tire... had them on several rigs and they always held up really well. If you're stuck on MT's I think Goodyear MT/R's are a better choice. I have them on a truck right now and personally, I think they ride a little better than the BFG's.
