Of all these tires discussed, which are radial and which are bias ply. I currently have SS Thornbirds on my XJ, and they are Bias Ply. I want to make sure I NEVER make that mistake again. I will never allow any Jeep of mine to every wear anything shy of a radial. Is the BF Goodrick Mud T/A KM a radial? How about the Toyo?

Thanks for the education.

I just got in today my 33x12.50x15 Baja Claws, but they went on my tj Rubicon. I've heard good things about them. I got them from 4wd.com, mounted and balanced($10/ea) on Procomp steel rims. They did a great job palletizing, wrapping and strapping. shipping was only $69 truck freight, they are discounting the tires and rims. Very happy with the service.

For anyone looking for muds, I bought 5 nankang mudstars 315/75-16 (35x12.5-16) for less than $140 each shipped from selecttire.com. I dont have any complaints with them.

i've been running ssr's on my TJ. i think they look sweet. they are pretty good in the mud. a little soft, so they seem to wear pretty fast for a daily driver.

Anyone Tried Nittoe Gaplers or the All Terrains? I am looking at either them or going back to my trusty old MTR's . If you have how are the Nittos on Rock/mud/street? Thanks
