Very nice jeep looks wonderful... My whole point is that he is running stock RUBI axles. You are running 60s front and rear. Much beefier than his current set up. In my opinion if he is going to wheel this thing hard its just to much rubber for his current setup. Not to mention he is still running the 4:10s . Running 35s with 4:10s sucked couldnt imagine trying to turn a 40.

Wow looks awesome and I'd DO IT! Like some have said you might break things so be prepared but then again the step up to 37's introduced stress as well so run it till you break then replace with beefier 40 proof parts...JMHO

DO IT!! If you dont, then you will probably wish you had, and if you do then your running 40's. Use finesse when wheeling vs. the skinny pedal. And just save for the upgraded parts.

Planman has been doing ot now for a while. I know 60's would be great, but if you are easy on the pedal I think you would be good to go with some minor upgrades to the 44. It is not as weak as they are made out to be on this forum. I ran 37's on a dana 35 without breaking anything but a cheap lunchbox locker and it was wheeled in South Dakota (very rugged area) Just do the 40's and upgrade when you can...

Agreed. Once you wheel it, you'll bend the stock front/rear axle. If you reinforce, it'll last a bit longer. Going to 40's would require you to beef up a little. Depends it you DD, off road, 4 wheeling or wheeling it...
