Default Tough Stuff Hood Rack?

I just bought one of these from another member and just thought to myself whether or not it will get in the way of the windshield sprayer when on? Anyone out there answer this for me?

Dlud51--I have one and it does not interfere with the sprayer. However, in the original kit they gave a few small, stainless steel washers for shimming things around just in case that happened (I didn't need any). I think that the instruction sheet is online, but if not, shoot me a PM and I'll see if I can find them and e-mail them to you. Also, here's my write-up:

Mark thank you so much! I have another question regarding the rack...I read on Tough Stuff's website that the rack comes with a gasket to protect the paint....does it? Buying it used mine did not and I was just wondering what if any it came with?

Also did it come with new hardware???

I am now going to read your write up so disregard any questions if they are answerd in your write-up!

When I bought mine a while ago it did not come with any gasket to protect paint. It did come with new hardware, everything you need to do either hi-lift, or shovel/other tool mount.

Ok...I was a little concerned that did not have the gaskets, however after reading the install write up I don't think they are really necessay.

Being that I bought mine used it was already put together and set up for the hi-lift, so for me it's really a matter of just getting the rack under the hood hinge and tightening eveything up.....although I wouldn't mind a copy of the directions.
