No clevis, no extra crap to carry and it is one of the safest ways to secure a strap.

and front hooks can be found here in the for sale forum all the time, mine will be up in a month or so

There is that option as well. Seen it done tons of times.

Default don't forget...

If you have an X model without front tow hooks, but want to add them, I suggest you also buy 4 of the tow hook reinforcement plates. They are part number 52126153-AA (about $4 each). Without these, your tow hooks may rip right out if you ever try to use it for recovery purposes. Of course, if you are just looking to add them for aesthetics, this doesn't matter, but thought you may want to know about this part number if you want the tow hooks to have the proper (factory) strength when bolted to the frame in front.

Cost you about $125, compared to the $160 for the hooks. I know, doesn't help with the front....No drilling either.

PS, if it's hooks you want, check eBay or the for sale section here on the site.
that reciever does anybody know where to find the exact part number for it? I saw the quadratec number but i can get it cheaper at auto zone. just need the part number for either hidden hitch or draw tite. i have got the cargo tray that goes in the reciever and I am going to the beach next weekend so I can't wait to order it from quadratec. Thanks in advance

I got the Warn one (29312). I also got the Warn Receiver Shackle Hitch Pin (63063). I got them on eBay for pretty reasonable price... I think Quadratec and/or 4WD.com sell them.
