TPMS in spare?
I wonder if the system cares about "no signal" (e.g. a non-TPMS valve stem or one with dead battery). So if you put 5 non-TPMS tires on, would you get a warning at all? Or had 5 dead batteries in your wheels?
getting no signal is different from getting a low- or normal- pressure signal, right?
Anyone know if there is a high pressure warning?

Low spare warning goes off in my grand cherokee system its oh so fun to climb underneath to discover the tire was put in with valve stem up. Know this is off topic, just confirming that these systems can detect the spare.
I've had a different experience so far. I put on new wheels/tires 3 days ago and had TPMS migrated to the new setup. Since the switch I've had my spare off the Jeep and had no sign (yet) of TPMS detecting the missing stem.
If it goes off I'll report back.

This is the first vehicle I have had with TPMS. I recently switched to some 33's with Cragar rims, did not pay to switch the TPM valves. Until I raise some cash I have the factory spare on back. For the last month my tire light has not come on. Is this due to the spare not being low? Secondly, if so, would I be able to then pay just to put TPM in the new matching 33 just to keep the light off? I do not care about the light, but just a few extra bucks to keep it off would be cool.
