Default Track bar Bolt hole Fix

Ok, I have been searching for the post on the proper way to check the bolt hole to see if it ovaled out and the proper way to fix it. I am currently deployed and my wife is having issues with DW. She just recently had a Rough Country 3.5" Series II lift put on it. Since the DW began Rough Country has sent us all kinds of extras to try and help fix the problem. So the Jeep goes back in the shop tomorrow to have a new Adj. Track Bar put on it. I want to make sure that the person checks the track bar bolt hole to make sure it is not ovaled out and if it is how to properly fix it. I also just wanted to verify that since they will be putting on the adj. track bar they can take off the track bar bracket supplied by Rough Country and the drop pitman arm and replace it back with the factory pitman arm.

Thanks for the help.

They should be able to tell if its ovaled by just eying it. If it is, they just need to weld on a washer and that should do the trick.

You'll most likely want to have a drag link flip kit if you plan on removing the drop bracket and dropped pitman. I think if you try and go back without a flipped drag link the angle is going to be pretty severe and might damage the bushings on the draglink... There's nothing wrong with the dropped pitman arm and dropped track bar bracket, I ran them with my RC lift for nearly 10k miles with no issues.

Is the shop you're taking it to familiar with Jeeps and DW?

I am not sure how educated he is with death wobble. My wife is the one taking it to the 4X4 shop. I am currently in Afghanistan so I am not sure of the shop.
