You can weld that or bolt it.

Umm this is the first I ve seen this bracket, but the two extra bolts in it would prevent the bracket from shifting, even if it's not welded or tacked anywhere. Although I'd prolly tack it anyhow.or red locktight those two bolts and make sure you got a snug fit when drilling.
